David L. Caruso is a playwright and dramaturge from Minneapolis. His plays include THROUGH HIKE (Semifinalist, Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference 2020, Finalist, International Thomas Wolfe Playwriting Competition), and BILL & STEPHANIE (High Honors, Wesleyan University Department of English). His dramaturgy credits include FIRST LOVE (Cherry Lane Theatre, NY) and ABOVE THE NOISE (Dixon Place, NY). He has held literary internships at New Dramatists (New York), InterAct Theatre (Philadelphia), and the Children’s Theatre Company (Minneapolis). He was an inaugural member of the Makers Lab @ TBK in Fairbanks, Alaska in 2018. His essay “Attending to (Our) Ghosts: Lola Arias’ Minefield” was published on the South Wall, the Walker Art Center’s performing arts reader. He is an MFA in Playwriting candidate at Boston University.
